| Hockey is a club sport at Lincoln-Way East and receives no financial or organizational support from the school. Equipment costs and ice fees increase yearly and donations from our sponsors make it possible for many of our students to participate in this program. We are grateful to our sponsors for their recognition that programs such as ours provide a great service by offering an alternative to high school athletes, who might otherwise have an opportunity to participate in organized sports. Just as in school supported programs, we strive to make the LWE Hockey program a positive, character building experience that will contribute to the development of fine young men and women in the community.
